Wax melts are essentially a wickless candle. A scented wax that you melt in a wax warming device that once melted releases a far stronger and consistent fragrance than a candle. This is because you are melting at a more consistent temperature and you are vapourising the scent.
H&L Wax melts work by releasing the fragrance oil in the wax once the wax is melted. You simply put your chosen wax melt into the well of your wax burner ensuring you remove all the packaging and put a tealight underneath or you can opt for an electric burner. When you've had enough you simply turn off or blow out the tealight and you can allow the wax to harden and use again. Once the wax starts to lose it's scent you simply remove and replace with fresh wax.
Be careful not to overload your wax melter, if you are unsure how much to use start small, then add more if needed. Make sure you keep away from draughts and only use 4 hour tea lights as anything bigger may cause a fire. To remove spent wax, I prefer to heat it up slightly and push out or melt fully then soak it up with a cotton pad or two.
